Cordero & Cordero had originally inform that the deadline for the Transparency and Final Beneficiaries declaration was April 30th, 2024. We hereby inform you that this deadline has been extended until July 31st, 2024. The purpose of such declaration is to maintain an updated registry of shareholders and final beneficiaries (owners) of all entities and corporations. Please confirm that no ownership changes have been made to your holding company and/or any other company thereof within the last 12 months. To clarify, the system will not be active until July 1st, 2024.
Clients with LLC, Trust or IRA companies that still need to update apostilles or send the signed resolution, we request that they do so as soon as possible (No later than June 15th, 2024).
