We would like to notify you that the Costa Rican government has adjusted the deadline for the Transparency and Final Beneficiaries (UBOs) declaration. The new deadline is October 31, 2024, in accordance with official Resolution MH-DGT-RES-0016-2024 / DG-059-2024, issued on July 1st, 2024. Please be advised that submissions must be completed within this designated month, and subsequent years will be due by April.
Meanwhile, we are continuing our review of the documentation supporting your company structure and the formal requirements needed. If you have outstanding apostilles or pending signed resolutions with us, we kindly request your prompt assistance in providing these documents. This will ensure they are prepared before October 1st, allowing us to proceed with the UBO’s declaration on time and avoid penalties.
Furthermore, if there are any pending Corporate Tax payments or obligations related to Legal Entity Tax applicable to your company(ies), please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance or contact your property manager to facilitate these payments.
